As Chief Technologist for Softcat, Rich is responsible for guiding customers through the options for the various interlinking technologies Microsoft has within their organisation. Rich leads a team of Microsoft Technologists that specialise in different areas of the Microsoft stack; Modern Work, Security and BizApps. An important part of his role is working closely with teams within Softcat that are involved in supporting a customer through a Microsoft project lifecycle to ensure an up to date, consistent and positive experience. Rich’s goal is to enable Softcat's Account Teams and customers to fully understand what options are available and appropriate to get the most out of their investment in Microsoft products and solutions.
