Kavita Reddi works at the intersection of media and technology, heading business development at Voxta, a generative AI startup. Voxta’s innovative election voicebot, dubbed a 'Political Siri' by TechCrunch, had millions of voters quizzing Mr Modi about key issues, and got global coverage. Voxta won the Indian ‘AI for Good Award’ 2019, and was a finalist for the Mayor of London’s Resilience Fund Challenge 2021. Before Voxta, she set up a pioneering digital venture, BBC Action Network.and worked at BBC Newsnight, where her films won the programme its first BAFTA. She also sits on the board of trustees of the University of London, IPSO (UK press regulator), and ‘The Conversation’, a global digital publication.
